I don't know how it applies to the thread this is in but if you administered any
decent sized MTA you would never have written that!
I have seen reorts for instance that a M$ MTA (Exchange ?) emits mail that has
headers containing <LF> without <CR> . This does not comply with RFC822 and so
M$ charges for the patch that should be free.
I have also heard some admins complaining recently about how they get complaints
about their mailservers when the problem was one M$ MUA that could not deal with
the output of another M$ MUA.
The only standards that seem to be accepted by M$ are the ones they wrote. That
does not mean that they never breach those either, does it?
