The expression "Damning with faint praise" comes to mind here ;-)

I remember that BoB I think was the interface and GUI guy, whereas Ike
was the 'guts' or algorithm man. Not sure what conclusion you can draw
though, it was BoB that chewed through "POP3 servers that don't
preserve message numbers between sessions" with me (now you know where
the ability to switch off 'Fast Interrogation' came from), and that's
algorithm in my book.
