[pmmail-list] HTML formatting

This=20thread=20has=20been=20going=20on=20for=20so=20long=20that=20I
can't=20remember=20whether=20BSW=20ever=20answered=20the=20only
question=20which=20is=20really=20to=20the=20point=20in=20my=20view:

Are=20there=20any=20RISKS=20involved=20in=20having=20PMMAIL
display=20HTML=20messages?=20Personally,=20I=20couldn't
care=20less=20whether=20such=20messages=20are=20rendered
perfectly,=20as=20long=20as=20enabling=20this=20feature=20does
not=20expose=20me=20to=20any=20virus=20risks=20(as=20is=20the=20case
when=20you=20use=20Outlook=20or=20Explorer=20as=20a=20mail
client).=20A=20routine=20that=20interprets=20just=20a=20few
HTML=20tags=20(enough=20to=20get=20some=20idea=20of=20the
formatting=20intended=20by=20the=20sender)=20but=20simply
ignores=20any=20tags/code=20that=20could=20cause=20damage=20is
surely=20to=20be=20considered=20an=20advantage=20rather=20than
a=20limitation,=20or=20do=20I=20completely=20misunderstand
the=20issues=20involved=20here?

Being=20able=20to=20view=20the=20text-only=20part=20of=20HTML
messages=20is=20a=20nice=20idea,=20but=20it=20doesn't=20work=20for
the=20many=20lists=20I=20receive=20in=20digest=20form.=20These
are=20cluttered=20with=20loads=20of=20HTML=20code=20whenever
one=20of=20the=20list=20members=20submits=20a=20message=20in
HTML,=20as=20there=20is=20no=20'text=20part'=20as=20such=20to=20such
concatenated=20message=20files.=20Allowing=20PMMail=20to
interpret=20the=20HTML=20parts=20results=20in=20these
messages=20being=20displayed=20twice,=20once=20as=20plain
text=20and=20once=20as=20formatted,=20within=20the=20overall
digest=20display.=20This=20is=20the=20better=20of=20the=20two
alternative=20views,=20as=20far=20as=20I=20am=20concerned.
