Yes, I do know about LDAP (and RFCs). I've taught Net.Commerce and
Websphere Commerce Suite for IBM where LDAP for single logon is an
option. I also work with Domino where it is also an optional service.
Frankly if I was setting up a LAN for SMBs I'd rather have a net shared
master address list and unshared personal books. KISS
If PMM had a freely defined path to its address book I think we would
have already been using it and putting up with the users having no
really private address list.
