Tim,
I think someone pointed this out earlier, but if all you want to do is
automatically save all the attachments in one or more messages to a standard
(fixed) folder, you can easily make a filter, to be applied manually, to do this.
Try something like search Header for @ (guaranteed hit) and manual execution.
The final option in the action combo box is "save attachments to directory",
specify your directory and you're done. Right click on the selected messages,
apply manual filters and it should put all the attachments in your specified
directory.
This seems to respond to what you were asking for. If you also wanted to delete
the attachments from the original message, then obviously it does not, and I will
shut up now.
Cheers,
Dean

|Well, if you need to do that, you should probably do them one at a time
|just as you do now. I'm looking for a quick shortcut; I don't want to
|have to respond to a "Do you want to change the name of xxxxx.xxx?" dialog
|10 times.
|
|On the other hand, I could see a "manage attachments" dialog with a
|multicolumn grid: first column is a checkbox to select/deselect the
|attachment, second column is the attachment name in the e-mail, third
|column is the destination file name and is editable. Add an edit box and
|browse button to specify the destination directory, and that would be
|pretty cool.

|
|What's the point? Does PMMail actually run on any 8.3-only systems?
