[pmmail-list] PMM 2717 on Win98 and ADVAPI32.DLL missing

   I could not install the latest Windows build 2.20.2717 at my 
customer's site -- the install program tells me right at the beginning 
"DLL ADVAPI32.DLL" is missing. 

   Googling for this name, I find several pages about a virus creating 
such a DLL and a security threat with a supposedly back door opened by 
Microsoft. 

   Why can't PMMail be installed without such a DLL as the previous 
versions have been? 

   Alternatively, how to I get this DLL into Windows 98SE?
