Been there, done that, Ken! [smile]

I have three different POP servers from which I regularly collect mail
with either The Bat in W2K or PMMail in OS/2. All of them generate the
Error From Hell with PMMail in W2K.

In light of your conversation with Winfried, I might add that both the
IP and DNS is done by my ISDN router, not W2K (or OS/2). The DNS
addresses are only in the router's memory.
