I wondered about that feature, but haven't explored very far there yet.
 I tried to use the "current date" variable in my Signature, but it
didn't work as planned.  I'll explore this area further.

Perhaps, it's powerful enough to add the initials of a writer to start
of each line in the quoted section of a response.  If not. this would
be an ideal place for BPS to add the commands & variables.

Neither.  He's using "Canned Replies" that are constructed using
ICSL variables.  Very easy to do (and I believe there have been posts
in the past).

Look up "ICSL Help" and "ICSL Variables" in the "Help" index
(the 2nd one has most of the details).  Very powerful, but I don't
believe many people are even aware of the existence....
