[pmmail-list] Running PMMail 2000 for Win32 under Odin ...

FYI ...

With all the talk of PMMail for OS/2 taking a backseat until the rewrite of the Win32 codebase I decided to try and run it under Odin ...

Installation:
During installation Setup kicks back an error that it can't execute SETUP.EXE ... but the dialog box shows the path that the installer is using so 
rather than clicking on OK, goto a command prompt and copy all the uncompressed files to a new TEMP directory ... Then terminate the 
installation ... Next, after replacing SETUP.EXE & _ISDEL.EXE from a 32-bit version of InstallShield PMMail2000 installed without a hitch ...

Execution:
Using the Odin created "Shortcut" from my Desktop PMMail2000 loaded without any problems ...
When creating an Account the TABs on the notebook don't respond to the left/right arrow buttons but other than that setup was fine ...

Buts:
Of course there's always something :-)
Immediately after clicking on OK after I created my account PMMail brought up a dialog box informing me that my Demo time was over ...
So I really couldn't test whether it can retrieve and send email from a standard POP account setup ... and I did not feel like booting into 
Windows XP to retrieve my license number for my legit Windows version of PMMail ...

To Trevor:
Is there anyway I can get another email sent to me with my license code for my Windows version of PMMail ???
I ask because I longer have the original sent to me when PMMail went dual plateform ... I've successfully migrated every release and every 
Windows upgrade since I first installed PMMail ... but in all the updating I must have deleted the original email ...

To All:
While this isn't the optimum situation, at least until the OS/2 version is redone from the Windows codebase we CAN run the newer releases 
of PMMail2000 ... as long as you have a dual license ...
