  I agree completely with you. I even think it might be better to
have a completely different product for IMAP which does not neet to
support POP3. Some of the strong points of PMMail like filtering
would have to be done on the server side anyway, and there at least
some if it can be done by SIEVE. I have yet to see an IMAP client
with PMMail's support of Canned Replies.

   As someone who is struggling to take over a database project from
someone else, I have a lot of empathy with him. It takes a lot of
rewrites to make it my own. But also sometimes I think that everybody
would see the code somebody else writes as a mess, since it is the
product of somebody other's mind.
