[pmmail-list] Question...

Hi, I've noticed that this beta of pm mail sends and receives mail
faster. It use to be that when I'd reply to a message on a list with
two reply fields, it could take from fifteen seconds to thirty seconds
before the message would send, and the outgoing filter would sound
indicating the message was sent. Also, I've noticed with new versions
of pm mail, that at least, in the initial first session of the new
build, I don't hear hard disk activity when a message is being fetched,
and placed in its' respective folder. The hard disk activity would
usually start when I'd shut down, and re-start windows the next day,
then, I would hear more hard disk activity, when fetching, or sending
mail. I don't know if this is windows writing cash to the hard drive
when it doesn't need to, or what, but just something I've noticed, and
actually preferre the silence, as to me, this might indicate that the
program might be working more efficiently. On Fri, 26 Jul 2002
