Hi,

this is my third attempt to get any answer on the follwoing question.
PLease, BSW, answer - I really need this feature for the little mailing
list I host:

Is there any possibility to set the subject of a canned reply? I just
built up a small mailing list with automatic un/subscription and would
like the canned replies stating successful subscription to have more
meaningful subjects than 'Re: Blabla...'. This should really be
possible to be defined inside the canned reply (as e.g. the $s.*$
variable), shouldn't it?

I tried the only method I found so far - but in vain as well:

I created an outgoing filter for setting the subject line. Now - this
filter changes the subject of the message as it is shown in the message
list, but NOT in the real message. When opening the message I see the
old 'Re: ...' subject.

So, what's the point of changing the subject if it doesn't affect the
outgoing message? It this a bug or working as intented and I'm just
unable to understand the intention?

Best regards

Andreas
