[pmmail-list] how to automatically get a blank line

Hi list, I have a friend that has just started using pm mail, but what
he wants to do is have a blank line automatically inserted before the
quoting starts to separate the quote from the reply, and was wondering
if there's a way to do this in pm mail.  Thanks in advance for helping.
