[pmmail-list] why am I getting these errors?

I would surmise that somehow the IP address assigned to you at that moment
somehow had been removed from the range of IPs allowed to relay through
Earthlink's email servers.

If you use dial-up or PPPoE DSL without the static IP option, it may be that
your IP has changed and cleared up the problem. Next time it happens; take note
of your IP, go to their support page and submit a trouble ticket. Don't bother
calling- really, you won't get through.
